      THIS INDENTURE made ye thirtieth day of Novembr: in ye yeare of or: Lord One thousand Six hundred Seventy & two in ye Foure & Seventeenth yeare of ye Reigne of or: Sovereigne Lord Charles ye Second &c., Betweene CHARLES THOMASSON of ye one part & THOMAS PANNELL of ye other party, Witnesseth that ye sd CHARLES THOMASSON doth promise & grant & by these prsents doth firmely bind himselfe to serve ye sd THOMAS PANNELL his heires & assignes from ye day of ye date hereof until! full Foure yeares be compleatly expired & finished in such Service or Imploymt, as he or they shall employ him in for & in consideracion that ye sd CHARLES THOMASSON doth truely & faithfully performe ye sd Service during ye sd Terme of Foure yeres as is above specified. The said THOMAS PANNELL doth engage himselfe his heires or assignes to deliver unto ye sd CHARLES THOMASSON ye last of April next ensuing two Cows ye one called Goulding to have a Cow calfe by side & foure hundred acres of land being part of a devident of land taken up in Copartnership between ye sd THOMAS PANNELL & JOHN PROSSER, this sd Foure hundred acres to be ye upper part of ye said Devident next & adjoyning unto a Devident of land granted unto Collo. AUGUSTINE WARNER running for breadth upon MATEPONY SWAMP according to ye several' courses & thence to ye head line by such a course as shall make ye compliment of Foure hundred acres, Likewise ye sd THOMAS PANNELL doth engage himselfe his heires or assignes to find & allow ye sd CHARLES THOMASSON during ye sd Terme to pay unto him Foure barrels of good sound Indian Corne, & to ye true performance of all ye abovesd. prmises wee ye parties abovesd. have sett our hands & seales ye day & yeare above written Signed sealed & delivered
