      STAFFORD COUNTY VA WILL BOOK O; 1748-1767; THE ANTIENT PRESS
      pp. 45-47 In Obedience to Order of the Court bearing date 9th February 1748 .. We the Subscribers have set one third of all the slaves & Stock in St. Paul's Parish belonging to Estate of Colo. HENRY FITZHUGH deced .. set apart for Mrs. LUCY HARRISON'S Dower .. We also by Agreement with Colo. NATHL. HARRISON and Lucy his wife assign 732 acres of land out of the whole 1797 acres the said 732 acres to be laid off as Followeth Beginning at the upper corner of said land on the River bank running Easterly down to River .. thence South for which said 732 acres of land Nathaniel Harrison and Lucy have agreed to quirt their thirds of the mill part and their thirds of the profits of the Mill except to be sold free .. The names of the Slaves are Vizt (27 named) -. horses, cattle & sheep and also her thirds of all other estate in Stafford County where the Law gives it to her .. 22d August 1748.
