      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty sixth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty, By and Between STEPHEN BAILEY of Cople Parish in Westmoreland County. Planter, of one part and JOHN BAILEY (Son of s-d. STEPHEN) of Washington Parish in County aforesaid, Planter, of other part: Witnesseth that STEPHEN BAILEY in consideration of the sum of three thousand pounds of lawful tobacco to him already paid by JOHN BAILEY, the receipt whereof STEPHEN BAILEY doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto JOHN BAILEY (Son of the said STEPHEN) his heirs all that parcel of land containing eighty acres scituate in Washington Parish in County of Westmoreland adjoining to the Plantation where JOHN BAILEY now dwelleth at the North West end thereof, and by the Swamp which parcel of land is part of a Pattent granted to OWEN BRENON for One hundred fifty five acres as by the Patent thereof dated the fifteenth day of December Annoq: Domini one thousand seven hundred and sixteen may more fully appear; And all houses orchards conveniences and appurtenances to the same belonging; To have and to hold the parcel of land with all the premises and appurtenances unto JOHN BAILEY his heirs; And STEPHEN BAILEY for himself and his heirs the eighty acres of land with the premises and appurtenances against the claim of any person shall warrent and defend by these presents; and that the premises now is free and clear from all incumbrances; In Witness whereof the party to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty ninth day of October in the Eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland. King, Defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty four. Between THOMAS FRANK of County of Westmorland of one part and THOMAS THOMSON of the County of KING GEORGE of other part, Witnesseth that THOMAS FRANK in consideration of the sum of Five shillings of lawful! money to him in hand paid by THOMAS THOMSON, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto THOMAS THOMSON all that parcel! of land containing One hundred acres sittuate in Parish of Washington in County of Westmorland being on the Branches of APPAMATTOX CREEK being formerly sold by FRANCIS WRIGHT, Gent., unto THOMAS ROBBINS as by the Deed in the County Court more fully appears, and said ROBBINS haveing sold the Land unto ROBERT FRANK. SENR., of aforesaid County as pr. a Deed of the said ROBBINS in the County Court acknowledged may more fully appear, and said ROBERT FRANK, SENR. acknowledged the Land unto ROBERT FRANK, JUNR., as pr. a Deed of Gift bearing date the Twelfth day of August one thousand seven hundred and fourteen, it being the land where THOMAS FRANK now lives, Together with all houses orchards, commodities and appurtenances belonging; To have and to hold the land and premises with appurtenances unto THOMAS THOMSON and assigns paying therefore the Rent of one Ear of Indian Corn upon the last day of the said term if lawfully demanded to the intent thatmkey vertue of these presents and of the Statute for transfering uses into possession, THOMAS THOMSON may be in the actual possession of the premises and be thereby the better enabled to take a grant and release of the inheritance thereof; In Witness whereof the partyes to these presents have interchangeably set their hands & seals the day and year first above written
