      p. 154 Know all men .. We PETER MAUZEE, WM. MOUNTJOY & JOHN MAUZEE are bound unto Worshipfull Justices of Stafford County .. In sum of 500 pounds Sterling .. 10th July 1734. The Condition .. if above bound Peter Mauzee Guardian of ELIZABETH SUMNER truly pay to said Orphan all Estate shall come to hands of said Mauzee as soon as Orphan shall attain to Lawful]. age or required by Justices .. also keep Justices from all trouble about the Estate .. then this obligation to be void or else in full force ..

      STAFFORD COUNTY VA WILL BOOK O; 1748-1767; THE ANTIENT PRESS pp. 189-190 In Name of God Amen I PETER MAUZY of Stafford County sick but of perfect mind -- appoint this to be my last will and Testament .- Following First soul to God Body to earth .. Item I give to my Loving Son MICHAEL MAUZY and heirs .. the whole tract of land whereon I now live after the Decease of my loving Wife ELIZABETH MAUZY and in default of heirs to m loving Son PETER MAUZY and his heirs .. Item I give unto my loving Son JOHN MAUZY all my Land on Elk Run in Prince William County and to his heirs in default of heirs to on Peter. Item I give my Son MICHAEL one cow & calf when he arrives age of 21 years. Item I give all my Negroes and Personal Estate whatsover to be equally divided between my loving wife Elizabeth Malay, my loving son Peter, my loving daughter MARY MAUZY and my loving daughter ELIZABETH MAUZY and their heirs. The Negroes & personal Estate to remain in care of my loving wife Elizabeth untill my Daughters arrive at age of 18 or married. No division is to be made before its the said Estate, and the said Mary and Elizabeth and Peter Mauzv are to be maintained on the profits of the Estate untill a division of same. Item I appoint my Loving Friends WILLIAM MOUNTJOY , ALEXANDER DONIPHAN JOHN MAUZY JUNR. to bind out my Son MICHAEL MAUZY directly to the Trade they think best and most suitable to the Boy's genius, untill he arrives at the age of 21 years. I do appoint my loving friends aforemetd. Likewise to bind out my son JOHN MAUZY to a good handecraft Trade untill he come at the age of 21 years to dispose of him in any other manner they shall judge proper as the boy has a Promising geoids. and Lastly I do appoint my Loving wife ELIZABETH MAUZY my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament utterly revoking all former wills 12th Feby 1750/1.
