      In the Name of God Amen. I William UNDERWOOD of Sittingbourne Parish in ye county of King George being very sick and weak though of perfect Mind and memory do make ordain and appoint this my last Will and Testament In manner and form following.

      Item: I give and bequeath to my loving son Thomas UNDERWOOD all the Peninsula whereon I now dwell after the same manner and on ye same condition that my father by his last Will & Testament gave it to me on condition that if my said son Thomas get yt hundred acres of land which was promised to his Mother by his grand mother Ellen Shippy then and in that case I give ye aforesaid peninsula unto my loving son William UNDERWOOD on ye condition granted by my father as aforesaid.

      Item: It is my Will & Desire yt my Loving wife Jael UNDERWOOD have ye use of all my personal estate during the time of her natural life and after ye time of her death my said personal estate be equally divided among my children.

      I do hereby appoint my loving wife Jael UNERWOOD whole and sole Executrix of this m last will and testament hereby revoaking all form wills by me at any time made do acknowledge this my last will & Testament as witness my hand and seal this 15th day of February 1725.

      It is my will and desire yt my Estate be not appraised.

Know ye that I ye sd WILLIAM UNDERWOOD JUNR. for ye consideracon of Three thousand pounds of good tobacco & casks, wherewith I du acknowledge my selfe fully satisfied, have sold unto WILLIAM THOMAS of ye same County of WESTMORELAND, Planter, his heirs & assignes forever a certaine parcell of land containing Two hundred acres lyeing & being in ye County of Essex and on ye South side of Rappa: River being one third part of Six hundred acres formerly purchased by Mr. AMOS BUTLER from Mr. WARWICK CAMMOCK, beginning at a marked Beach standing on ye SW side of PUNNIN IN RUN and so to bind alongst ye sd Run for breadth according to ye proportionable part of ye sd Two hundred acres, And soe into ye main woods; To have & to hold to him ye sd WILLIAM THOMAS his heirs & assignes the sd Two hundred acres of land wth : all its rights woods water appurtenances & commodities whatsoever
