    • Robert WASHINGTON of King George County, born July 25, 1729, died after 1799; married Dec. 16, 1756, Alice Strother. By deed in King George July 3, 1777, Robert Washington, of King George and Alice his wife and Lawrence Washington the younger, of King George, and Catherine his wife, conveyed to Lund Washington, of Fairfax, 600 acres in King George, where Elizabeth Washington, mother of said Robert, Lawrence and Lund, lately lived. By deed in King George, dated June 13,1789, Robert Washington, of King George, conveyed land to his son Lund, and by deed dated June 29, 1790, conveyed to his son Thomas 576 acres in King George where said Robert Washington then lived, and also by deed in King George, dated Sept. 17, 1799, conveyed to his son Thomas Washington of King George, land in that county. The land in King George, where said Robert Washington then resided, which had been granted by Lord Fairfax to Townshend Washington July 10, 1739 (FTM CD #162, p. 782).

      "being sound in mind and perfect in memory „ ,"
      Bequeaths to:
      1. Francis Boone —brother
      -to have the plantation whereon he now resides on the condition that testator's personal estate proves sufficient to pay all debts without it in whieh case the bond which testator holds of Francis for the payment of the said plantation shall be void and of no effect -to have the sum of 200 pounds
      -should there he any remaining of the estate to be divided into fifths and Joseph and Francis to have three fifths and the remaining two fifths to be divided between brothers Ignatius and John Boone
      2, Joseph Boone --brother
      -whereas Joseph and testator have been and are jointly interested and concerned in the purchase of sundry estates both real and personal and whereas there are large sums of money due them on this account and well as debts due, testator requests brother Joseph in eonjunction w/testator's executors are to bring all matters concerning the joint venture to a speedy conclusion and should it be necessary. then Joseph to have the sum of 300 pounds and Francis the sum of 100 pounds as compensation as executors of the will
      -named executor of the will along wi testator's brother Joseph and to have the 62 pounds Virginia currency due testator being part of the debt due to testator from Joseph Thomas in testator's private account and shall he applied --- received to the pavment of the ground rent For that amount, due John Harper of Alexandria by Joseph Boone and brother and that their account shall stand debted to testator's private account For that -to have the sum of 350 pounds

      -to have testator's sulky and harness, 1 pair of— and irons and all the — testator is entitled to and in her possession
      7, Rev. Francis Neale —of Georgetown
      -to have S40.00 and Joseph Eden to have the sum of $30.00 and to the Rev. Robert Plunket (?) to have the sum of $30.00—the said sums ro be applied by them' for testator's future benefit and $100.00 to be applied to charitable purposes, thc proper objects to be determined by executors and to be paid out of the moneys due testator from Joseph Thomas and the balance due testator from Thomas to be for the benefit of the Roman Catholic Church at the discretion of testator's executors
