Sybill West, widow, sold for £97.3 to William Triplett land devised to Sybill by her father William Harrison and now adjacent land of His Excellency General Washington and said William Triplett on Dogue Run, part of a tract granted William Harrison. The deed was for 107 1/2 acres. (Fx. Deeds M:315. 26 March 1777)

HARRISON of the Retirement of County Stafford doth farm lett unto JOHN SUMERS of same County 100 acres being part of a Patent granted Major JOHN WEST, Mr. WILLIAM HARRISON, Mr. THOMAS PEARSON and the said Thomas Harrison the whole being 4639 acres in Stafford County .. Beginning at marked white oak standing on the North side of Turkey Cock Branch .. up .. on the North side for breadth of a hundred acres of land square Including the Plat that the said Summers hath now settled on the said Turkey Cock branch during the naturall lives of the said John Sumers and SETH his wife and for life of his son JOHN SUMERS .. paying yearly just sum of 500 pounds of Tobacco and caske according to law after the 10th October .. loth agree on Death of one of the aforesaid lives that he may have liberty of paying a Double rent to putt in another of his children's lives ..
