Wm. to Burr Harrison of same....5000 lbs. of Tob 200 a. on south side of Chappawamsick Run in Stafford it being the land my Grandfather Burr Harrison bought of Maj. Richard Heabeard and willed to my mother Sibell Whitledge and the heirs of her body and being part of a patent commonly called Popes patent....standing near the said Heabeards cleare ground south side of Chappawamsick Run....deed of lease and release.

      At court June 19, 1734 Thomas Whitledge acknowledged this release with receipt endorsed to Burr Harrison.
      Pages 267--269. Thomas Whitledge of Parish of Hamilton Pr. Wm. am held and firmly bound unto Burr Harrison in 100 lbs. sterl. dated June 19, 1734. The condition of this obligation is such that the above bound Thomas Whitledge hath granted Burr Harrison a tract of land containing 200 a., now if the above bound Thomas Whitledge shall observe the covenants and agreement ought to be observed mentioned in the aforesaid indenture of release, then Thomas Whitledge shall warrant and for ever defend the aforesaid then this obligation to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue.
