      STAFFORD COUNTY VA DEED BOOK J; 1722-1728; THE ANTIENT PRESS
      pp. 517-519 This Indenture made 11th and 12th June 1728 between ROBERT ENGLISH JUNIOR of Parish Hanover King George County & JANE his Wife one of the Daughters & Devises of THOMAS HARRISON late of County of Stafford deced of one part S HENRY FITZHUGH & JOHN FITZHUGH Gent. & His Reverend DAVID STUART Clerk all of this County of Stafford aforesaid Extra. of Last Will & Testament of JOHN ALLEN late of county Stafford deced of other part .. Whereas said John Allen by his Last Will & Testament in writing bearing date the 11th October 1725 among other things did declare his will that all his Estate (except the Legacies in the Will mentioned) should be sold & the money or Tobacco arising to be by them laid out in purchasing land & land so purchased to be set apart for the proper use of the Minister of St. Paul's Parish aforesaid ,. and that the said Minister & his heirs forever .. should receive this yearly annuity of his said land & pay yearly to a Schoolmaster for ever two thirds of the Rents of the said land to teach such numbers of poor children & the Minister & Vestry of the said Parish now with him agree & do appoint Henry Fitzhugh, John Fitzhugh and David Stuart Exters of the said Will ,. Now this Indenture witnesseth that said Robert English & Jane his wife in consideration of 3500 pounds of Tobacco do grant 80 acres in Parish of Overworton in County Stafford adjoining to some land of Major John Fitzhugh which said 80 acres THOMAS HARRISON did by his Last Will & Testament bearing date 10th November 1725 did bequeath unto his Daughter the said JANE ..
