      Son John 50 acres of land, and rest of my lands to sons John and Benedict jointly and that the eldest heir male enjoy my plantation Taniherne with 364 acres of land.
      My sons or their heirs shall not at any time sell or mortgage any of my land save to each other.
      To John and Nathaniel sons of Nathaniel Garland one crown to buy gloves.
      To Daniel and Jeremiah son's of Nathaniel Garland 500 pounds tobacco each.

Know ye that I BENIDICK MIDDLETON of the Parish of Cople in County of Westmoreland and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and beare unto my beloved Son, BENIDICK MIDDLETON, have and for diver good and valuable causes and considerations me thereunto especially moving by these presents give and confirm unto my sd. Son, BENIDICK MIDDLETON and to the heirs of his body lawfully to be begotten and for default of such heirs, I give and confirm unto my Son, WILLIAM MIDDLETON, and to the heirs of his body lawfully to be begotten all that parcell of land and premises together with the appurtenances scitaute in the Parish and County aforesaid and containing One hundred fifty three acres and one hundred fifty eight perches of land and bounded; Beginning at a Locust Post the South West corner of the said MIDDLETONs Trackt and extending from thence North fourty five degrees East one hundred ninety four poles to a white Oak marked for a corner standing in the line that divides this Land from the Land of Mr. SAMUEL HEATH now in the tenure of STEPHEN BALEY and near BALEY's Dwelling House, thence South fourty five degs. East one hundred twenty seaven poles to the line that divides this Land from the Land of JOHN MIDDLETON. deced.. to a Stake near a red Oak saplin, thence South fourty five degs. West one hundred ninety four poles to the line of said MIDDLETONs Pattent to a Locust Stake, thence North fourty five degs.
