      Son Robert 100 acres of land & a tract of land, where I live with houses etc and 1 negro man;
      to son Benedict 1 negro boy; carpenter's tools, 1 bed and furniture;
      to son William a negro man, a negro woman, feather bed and furniture; daught Mary a negro girl, feather bed, furniture and trunk
      to daughter Elizabeth a negro boy, feather bed an furniture and trunk;
      to daughter Jane a negro boy feather bed, furniture and trunk; one gold ring ea (for which I have sent)
      to Elizabeth and Jane Middleton my daughters; rest of estate to be equally devided between my 3 sons and 3 daughters. Robert Middleton was granted administration with Dame Bonahm and Samuel Damouvel securities.

      TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come, Greeting. Know ye that I ROBERT MIDDLETON and MARY his Wife of Parish of Cople and County of Westmorland in consideration of the natural love and effection which we have and bear unto our Son, BENEDICK MIDDLETON, have granted and confirmed and for divers other good causes and valuable considerations us thereunto especially moving, doe by these presents grant and confirm unto our Son, BENEDICK MIDDLETON and to his heirs of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten all that tract of land and premises with appurtenances scituate in County aforesaid and containing one hundred eighty five acres and bounded; Beginning a a marked red Oak saplin standing in a Valley near the head of a Branch and in the line formerly between the land of ROBERT MIDDLETON and ROBERT HAMACK and from thence running down the Valley South fifty five degrees West ten and an half poles to a marked red Oak and thence South fifty degrees West thirteen pole, thence South fifteen degrees West twenty six pole to ROBERT MIDDLETON's Mill Pond, thence down the Pond and Marshy Swamp to the mouth of a Branch and up the Branch to a white Oak corner tree to the land formerly belonging to JOHN BAILEY, and from thence South forty five degrees East two hundred sixty four pole along the Lane formerly ROBERT MIDDLETON's deced., to the first mentioned beginning red Oak, together with all houses orchards profits commodities and hereditaments to the same belonging; To have and to hold the one hundred eighty five acres of land and premises and appurtenances unto BENEDICK MIDDLETON, and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten to be held of the Chief Lord of the Fees by the rents and services for the same due and accustomed to be paid; In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seales this 27th day of January Anno Dom. 1755
