      THIS INDENTURE made the Eight and Twentieth day of July in the first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God King of Great Brittain France & Ireland, Defendr of the faith &c., Annoq: Domini 1715; Between JOSEPH BELFIELD of the Parish of Sittenbourn in County of Richmond, Chirurgeon. and MARY his Wife, of the one part and JOHN MORTON JUNR., of the same Parish and County, and MARY, his Wife, Daughter of the sd. MARY BELFIELD, of the other part; Witnesseth that JOSEPH BELFIELD and MARY his Wife in consideration of the sume of Five shillings to them in handpaid by JOHN MORTON and MARY his Wife as also for the natural! love & affection which the sd: MARY BELFIELD hath and beareth unto JOHN MORTON and MARY his Wife, her Daughter, and for diverse other good and valuable considerations the sd. JOSEPH BELFIELD and MARY his Wife thereunto especially moving by these p:sents doe bargain sell release and confirme unto JOHN MORTON and MARY his Wife the full quantity of One hundred and fifty acres of land lying in Parish of Sittenbourn being part of a Tract of Two thousand Five hundred acres of land by Patent dated 21lth day of July 1662 granted unto GEORGE MORRIS aka WILLIAM LANE, Father of sd, MARY BELFIELD, the right whereof descended unto her the sd.
