      (1) to son William one cow one calf a pot a passeIl . . . and all the corn that I lent him in the year 1733 and the 2 hhds. corn that John Muse owes me one 30 shillings cash and one table.
      (2) to son Nicholas Muse one cow one yearlin steare one blanket one sheate and seeder pail.
      (3) to son Daniel one bed one pair of sheats one pare of pillers one pare of blanketts one chist 2 basins 2 dishes fore plates one silk rug. (4) to Dafter Anne Chiton one spice morter and pesell one castin ladle for her natural life and after her death to Letes Chilton.
      (5) to my Dauter Anne Chilton one washing toob.
      (6) to my Dafter Elizabeth Barnet one bell mettle skillet during her life and after hare death to Barbary Minor.
      (7) to my granddafter Mary Minor my saddle and bridle and speening wheel.

      - IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen I THOMAS MUSE of Washington Parish in the County of Westmorland being sick of body but of perfect sence & memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life doe prepare make & declare this my Last Will & Testament in manner & forme following. Imprimis. I resigne and recommend my immortall soule into the hands of my blessed Saviour & Redeemer Christ Jesus in firm hope & beliefe through his meritorious death & passion to receive pardon & forgiveness of all my Sins & a joyful resurrection att the Last Day to eternal bliss & happiness and for my worldly Estate God in his abundance of his mercy hath been pleased to allow me, I dispose their of through his permition in manner & forme following:
      Item. It is my Will & desire that my Brother, CHRISTOPHER MUSE, have Negro Harre the which I purchased with his money & all the rest of his Estate to the which I have in my possession delivered him by my Executors when he demands it & as much meale & Corn as shall be sufficient to serve him two years & one Milk Cow the same time to give him milke;
      Item I give and bequeath to my Brother, DANLL. MUSE, one of my fine Shurts and one of my course ones his choice of all I have &. two pare of shoos and two pare of stockins.
      Item. I give & bequeath unto my Friend, BENJA: WADDEY, fifteen shillings. All the rest & residue and remaining part of my Estate, I give to my Son, THOMAS MUSE, to him his heirs & assigns for ever;
      Item It is my will and desire that my Father in Law. Mr. RICHARD SANFORD, have the care and tuition of my Son, THOMAS, untill my Son shall arive to the age of Eighteen years old: if my Father in Law shall depart this life before my Son shall attaine to the age of Eighteen then I leave him to the care and tuitiun of my brother in Law, RICHD. SANFORD JUNR.. until! he shall arive to the age of Eighteen at which age I give my Son to his own Liberty to act for himselfe, but not to receive his Estate from my Executors until! he shall arive to the age of Twenty one. I doe hereby appoint my Father in Law, Mr. RICHD. SANFORD, & my Brother, JOHN MUSE, whole and sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament & doe hereby revoke all other Wills by me att any time made and I doe declare that none other to be taken for my Last Will & Testament. In Wittness whereof, I have hereunto sett my hnd and seal this 29th day of October 1734

TURBERVILE, C. C. W.
