      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I CORNELIUS NOELL being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect memory blessed & praised be Almighty God for ye same, do make & ordaine this to be my last Will & Testamt., in manner & forme following: First & principally I comend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hopeing by ye meritorious death & passion of ye blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon & forgiveness of all my sins and a joyful! resurrection at ye last day As for my body, I comitt it to ye ground to be decently & Christianly buried at ye discretion of my Executrix hereafter named; As for ye worldly goods that God hath lent me I dispose of in manner & forme following: Vizt.
      Imprimis. I give & bequeath ye Land & Plantacon where I now live both free Land & Copeehold with all that appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my loveing Wife, ELIZABETH NOELL dureing her natural life & after her decease unto my Son. CORNELIUS NOELL & his heirs;
      Item. I give & bequeath unto my Son, JAMES NOELL, that tract or parcel' of Land commonly known or called by ye name of NEW HOLLAND and if it shall please God that my sd. Son do die without heirs, then I give the said Land unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH NOELL;
      Item. I give & bequeath unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH NOELL, that tract or peice of Land between ye old feild and JOHN ANDERSONs joining on JNO ANDERSON by computacon One hundred acres to her & her heirs;
      Item. I give unto my Son, DANIEL NOELL. Six hundred pounds of tobacco;
      Item. I give unto my Daughter, MARY CLOUTSOM, Six hundred pds. of tobacco;
      Item. I give unto my Daughter, MARGARET CONALLEE, Six hundred pounds of tobacco
      Item, I give unto my Son, CORNELIUS NOELL, Six hundred pounds of tobacco if he shall live to be of age with a pr. of Pistolls & Holsters & a Carbine - turn over -
      Item. I give unto my Son, JAMES NOELL, six hundred pds. of Tobo: if he shall live to be of age;

      As for ye rest of my Estate, I give it to my Wife, makeing her my whole & sole Executrix and I do annul & make void all former Wills & Testamts. bequests or Legacies by me at any time heretofore made bequeathed or given, & do sign seale & publish this to be my last Will & Testamt., In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale this 10th day of January 1699/8,

      TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whome these presents shall come I WILLIAM BROWNE together with ELIZABETH my wife of ye County of Essex send Greeting. Know yee that wee the sd. WILLIAM BROWNE and ELIZABETH BROWNE as well for the hearty love and affection and for and in consideracon of ye kind respect wch: I have and do bear unto JAMES LANDRUM and MARY his Wife, my beloved Daughter, as also for other good causes & consideracons, us at this present especially movein g have given unto the sd. JAMES LANDRUM & MARY his Wife and to the heirs of their bodyes begotten or to be begotten between them, One hundred acres of Land being part of a parcell of Land containeing Four hundred and Fifty one acres, taken out of a tract of Land containeing Three thousand seventy five acres granted by Patent to THOMAS PAGE, WM. HODGSON and SAMUELL WELDING, and accrewing due unto ye sd. THO: PAGE by Survivour ship, ye sd Four hundred and fifty one acres being ye one halfe part of what ye sd THOMAS PAGE left at his decease to his Daughter, ye Wife of VALLENTINE ALLEN, ye sd one hundred acres scituate being & lyeing in ye sd County of Essex on ye South side of Rappak; River back in ye Woods, and begining near ye head of a small Branch that falleth into BARCHEN SWAMP at three marked Maple trees corner tree to a parcell of land sold by RICHARD DYSON unto JAMES BOLWARE and extending thence South one hundred and sixty perches along ye line of ye sd. Land of BOLWAREs to three marked red Oak saplings by a white Oake and ye same course fifteen foot farther, thence West to ye angle of three marked Pokickoreys and 1/2 a perch farther, thence North West to a small red Oake standing in ye line of ye land of JOHN WILLIAMS (torn) thence South East to ye first marked Maples; To have and to hold to them ye sd, JAMES LANDRAM & MARY his Wife and to the heirs of their owne bodyes begotten and to be begotten between them without any clayme or demand of us our heirs or any other persons whatsoever in our names, Provided and be it hereby forepraised and excepted that if ye abovesd, JAMES LANDRAM and MARY his Wife shall depart this life without issue of their owne bodyes begotten between them, and in default of such issue, then the sd. Land shall be and revert to us the sd. WILLIAM BROWNE and ELIZABETH BROWNE the Donors & our heirs forever; anything in this Donation notwithstanding. Wee ye sd. WILLIAM BROWNE and ELIZABETH BROWNE have put ye sd. JAMES LANDRAM and MARY his Wife for themselves and their heirs of their bodyes begotten between them in peaceable & quiet possession of ye sd. One hundred acres of Land by the delivery to them of one good sound Ear of Indian Corn in ye name of Livery & Seizin of the premisses at ye ensealeing & delivery hereof.
