      Westmoreland County Court 27th day of May 1719.
      The last Will and Testament of THOMAS BATCHELLOR, deced. was presented into Court by MARY his Exerx. who made oath thereto and being proved by the oaths of JOHN CHAMP and SARAH MINOR witnesses thereto is admit to record and upon the mocon of the said Exex. and her performing what is usual in such cases Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof in due form. And it is ordered that JOHN CHAMP, WILLIAM MINOR, JOHN MINOR & THOMAS STURMAN or any three of them being first sworn before one of his Majesties Justices for Westmoreland County' do some time before the next Court to be held for this said County value and appraise the Testators Estate in money and make report thereof to the said next Court.

      THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty forth day of Aprill in year of our Lord one Parish of Sitten borne in County of Richmd. of one part and THOMAS BACHELOR of the Parish of COPLE and County of WESTMORLD: of the other part; Wittnesseth that FRANS WILLIAMS JUNR. for the sum of Three thousand Five hundred pounds of good tobacco in hand paid by THOMAS BACHELOR by these p:sents doth bargaine & sell unto THOMAS BACHELOR his heirs all that place parcell and divident of Land scituate in the Parish & County aforesd: containing Seventy acres of land be the same more or less now in the actual possession of sd: THOMAS BACHELOR and is bounded by the Land of JAMES KITCHIN, CHRISTOPHER PRITCHARD, JOHN CLARK deced., JOSEPH CARPENTER and a Dividing Line made by ye parties to these p:sents wch: separates this land from thatt of JOHN WHITRIDGE, Together with all profitts comodities & appurtenances belonging: To have and to hold the parcel! of land unto THOMAS BACHELOR his heirs, And FRANS: WILLIAMS JUNR, his heirs ye hearby bargained & sold p:misses with the appurtenances to THOMAS BACHELOR his heirs against all persons shall warrant and for ever defend by these p:sents free and clear from all Incumbrances, ye yearly rent for the same due to ye Cheif Lords of the Fees of ye p:misses only excepted; In Wittnesse whereof the parties to these p:sent$ first above named have hearunto interchangeably sett their hands and seales ye day & year above written
