      To eldest son Samuel, land in Calvert County, where he is now seated, bou. of Elisha Hall; shd. he die without issue, to descend to 4 sons, John, Peter, Joseph and Richd., or the survivors; shd. son Samuel survive 4 sons afsd, and die without issue, sd. lands to be sold and proceeds divided among 3 daus., Anne, Mary and Sarah; also debts due to testator, and personalty.
      To son Joseph, and hrs., "Dort," on w. side of West R., bou. by father Richd. Galloway of Jacob Duhadway; pt. of "Brown Town," on w. side of West R., bou. of Thomas Hook; dwelling plantation "Galloway,"; "The Gift," adj. afsd. lands; 1/2 of "Bennerston," on w. side West R., bou. of Wm. Coale; lands at hd. of afsd. tract, "Bennerston"; lands on s. side of same tract, bet. it and "Peak," now in possession of Gerard Hopkins, extending to John Hawkins line; shd. sd. son Joseph, die without issue, afsd. lands to ascend to son John and hrs.; and personalty.
      To son John and hrs., "Cumberstone," at hd. of West R., pt. of sd. tract bou. of Saml. Waters and Sarah, his wife, and of Thomas Hawkins and Eliza., his wife. Also portion of land bou. of John Blackmore; shd. he die without issue, sd. lands to descend to son Joseph.
      To son Richd. and hrs., "Fordstone," taken up by Thomas Ford, lying at hd. of West R., excepting such pt. thereof sold by James White to John Waters. "The Addition," adj., and residue of "Cumberstone." Shd. son Richd. die without issue, "Fordstone" and "The Addition" to ascend to son Joseph and residue of "Cumberstone" to son John; and personalty.
      To son Peter, 391 A. "Obligation" bou. of Thomas Stockett; shd. son Peter die without issue, sd. lands to descend to son Richd. Dau.-in-law Eliza Galloway is to have use of the 100 A., whereon her husband now lives, during widowhood.
      To sons Richd., John, Joseph, and Peter, 1/2 of land purchased with Gerard Hopkins of Joseph Gates and his wife ---- and Jane, their dau., living in England, together with testator's pt. of vacant land adj. thereto; "White Hall," lying bet. the hd. of South R. and Patuxent. Son Richd, to have first choice; shd. he die before disposing of his portion and without issue, his share to descend to son Peter. Sd. sons to dispose of their portions to one another.
