Francis Awbrey who by his last will and testament left same to his son, John Awbrey, who by his last will and testament invested his wife, Mary Awbrey, with full power to convey same to above said George Gregg which was done by Lease and Release duly recorded in Clerks office of Fairfax County .. for sum of Ten pounds .. sold the 60 acres

      Whereas Owen Brady of St. Marys County Maryland and Hannover his wife by their Indenture of Lease & Release have sold John Carlyle the fee simple estate of eight hundred or thereabouts acres of land with the appurtenance lying in parish of Truro in County of Fairfax and Whereas Hannover cannot conveniently travel to our County Court to make acknowledgment Therefore we do give unto you power to receive the acknowledgment which the said Hannover shall be willing to make before you .. this 27th April 1763.
