      KNOW ALL MEN by these p:sents that I WILL: CLAPHAM of the County of Lancastr:, Planter, for a valuable consideracon reced of JOHN BERRY of the same County, Planter, have given & sold unto the sd JO: BERRY Three hundred & fifty acres of land scituate on COROTOMON RIVER being part of a Patent of Seven hundred acres of land granted unto THO: POWELL dated the 8d day of June 1655 wch: is the land that HOWELL POWELL formerly held on wch: land was sold & assigned to me the sd CLAPHAM by the sd THO: & HOWELL POWELL to Have & to have & enjoy the aforesd threed hundred & fifty acres of land wth: all houses orchards gardens & other appurts. thereunto appertaining to him the sd JO: BERRY his heirs Exrs.
