=== Research Notes from Linda Adair Juba
"Executors Administration and Guardian Bonds, 1761-1805"
Guardianship papers and a will relating to Rachel Piper Monroe are available in the LVA
This verifies the connection to William Monroe, son of William etc.

      > descendant of Andrew J. Monroe, son of William & Rachel Piper through son Judge Thomas Bell Monroe.

The myth that too many have supposed that Andrew A. Monroe is married to Ann Bell instead of a Garnett. Andrew A. Monroe, his brother the President and Andrew J. Monroe are second cousins. Burkes Peerage incorrectly published the incorrect Andrew to Ann Bell.
