      I Thomas Pindell in consideration of 5 shillings sterling paid by Benjamin Boyd and Philip Pindell as also for divers other causes and considerations me hereunto moving have sold Negroes Adam and Kate which I had of my mother Elizabeth Pindell's estate as also 14 black cattle, 12 sheep, my roan horse and the gray horse which I had by my former wife together with 3 feather beds and furniture, 3 pewter dishes and 12 pewter plates and 3 iron pots; provided nevertheless that if Thomas Pindell pay and satisfy Francis Hall the sum of 55 pounds sterling with legal interest for a bond bearing date August 29, 1753 together with Benjamin Boyd and Philip Pindell his securities and do keep them free from all costs and damages then this bill of sale to be void and of no effect.
