We think that WILLIAM ALLEN's wife was MARGARET LUNSFORD, daughter of MARGERY JENNEWAY mentioned in his will as grandmother of WILLIAM and MARGERY LUNSFORD. Our info is sketchy, but we think that grandmother MARGERY JENNEWAY was in fact MARGERY daughter of EDWARD KING and his wife DIANA of Lancaster County Virginia 1650s etc. This MARGERY KING married JAMES LUNSFORD, he dumped her for another woman, and so she apparently married 2nd WILLIAM JENNEWAY (sp?)

When I learned a few years ago of WILLIAM ALLEN's daughter DINAH, I immediately thought of her as a namesake (and great granddaughter) of the original DIANA wife of EDWARD KING.

Your thoughts on this, and also what evidence do you have that WILLIAM ALLEN's wife was a WAGGONER?
