      THIS INDENTURE made this 30th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety two Between NIMROD DUNCAN, WILLIAM DUNCAN, CHARLES DUNCAN (the two line space is blank) and ROBERT COVINGTON of other part; Witnesseth ROBERT COVINGTON and CHARLES DUNCAN deced, Father to the above named DUNCANs, had mutually agreed to exchange land and before Deeds were executed the sd. CHARLES departed this life intestate, and by a Decree of Culpeper Court, the sd. ROBERT was to convey in fee simple ten undivided parts in eleven of a certain tract of
      land lying in Culpeper County to WM: DUNCAN, CHARLES DUNCAN, SHADRACK DUNCAN, ISAAC DUNCAN, JOHN DUNCAN, MILLY DUNCAN, HENRY DUNCAN, ZACHARY DUNCAN and ELIZABETH DUNCAN, (nine names listed) and they to convey one other tract of land in Culpeper County to sd. ROBERT COVINGTON and the sd. NIMROD DUNCAN, WM.: DUNCAN, CHARLES DUNCAN (again the space left blank) in consideration of the sd. exchange made with ROBERT COVINGTON and the aforesd. Decree that a conveyance should be made unto ROBERT COVINGTON, also in consideration of the sum of (blank) shillings to him in hand paid, by these presents doth bargain &sell unto ROBERT COVINGTON his heirs a certain tract of land lying in County of Culpeper and granted from the Proprietors Office unto
      WM. DUNCAN deced., and by him to the above named CHARLES DUNCAN deced. (his Son ) & lying in the GOWRDVINE FORK in d. County which is bounded by a Survey made by GEORGE BUIME; Begining at a black Walnut and Sycamore standing at the North side of ALLENS RUN on South side of the North Fork of the GOURD VINE, and runs thence the several courses of the said Run South thirty degrees West sixty four poles S. 42 Wt. one hundred and twenty four poles to three white Oaks in a Stony Point by the mouth of a Branch, thence South 35 East one hundred &fifty six poles to two Pines and one red Oak & the foot of the GIANT CASTLE MOUNTAIN, thence N. Et. three hundred and thirty six poles to one white Oak & one red Oak on a hill side by sd.       THIS INDENTURE made the 16th day of September in the year of our Lord 1793 Between ROBERT COVINGTON and MARY his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part & NIMROD DUNCAN of the other of the County aforesaid, Witnesseth that ROBERT COVINGTON & MARY his Wife hath a right to one eleaventh part of a certain tract of land formerly the property of WILLIAM COVINGTON deced., lying on North side of RUSH RIVER and joining the lands of Capt. JOHN STROTHER, the said ROBERT hath a
      right to the said land by the decease of CHARLES DUNCAN, Father to the said MARY COVINGTON, as will appear by a Decree of Culpeper Court, and ROBERT COVINGTON & MARY his Wife In consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds to them in hand paid by NIMROD DUNCAN by these presents doth bargain & sell unto NIMROD DUNCAN his heirs one eleaventh part of the aforesaid tract of land lying in Culpeper County containing by estimation Three hundred & fifty acres more or less together with all ways water courses rents profits and advantages; To have & to hold the one Eleaventh part of the
