      Indenture made July 27, 1752; Benjamin Fendall of Charles County, Maryland, gentleman in consideration of £480 of England paid by James Russell of Prince George's County, Maryland merchant, has sold tracts lying in Prince George's County now in occupation of Barbara Brooke widow and relict of Thomas Brooke Esq. deceased excepting and reserving the right of Barbara Brooke to the tracts during her natural life and excepting saving and reserving unto Negro Jenny the use and occupation of that part she has for some time past cultivated and remains now in possession of land and excepting and saving ½ acre of land contiguous for the burial place and graveyard on that part of the lands called "Brookefield", "Brooke Chance" and "Addition to Brookefield" beginning and lying near a branch of Mattapany Creek called Howards Branch, and bounded by the lands of John Howard late deceased, Matthew Wise's land, Long Bridge Branch, Jenny's Branch, land of Walter Brooke, deceased, Cool Spring Branch, main branch of Mattapany Creek and containing 806 acres; also a tract called "Howard Park" lately conveyed by John Howard of Charles County, Maryland, gentleman to William Potts lying near Brooke Creek and binding on "Vineyard"containing 125 acres.
