THere is a 5-6 page document I copied which tells all about both husbands, an apparant "fight" over a will,etc...at any rate, it states that George Carter was the son o Robert Wormely Carte r and Winifred HBeale of Sabine Hall, Richmond County,Va. and that his wife was Sally Carter , daughter of Edward Carter and Sarah Champe of Cleve, in Albemarle County,Va. George had an estate in Stafford County,VA comprising of 4,000 acres....George Carter died in 1802 and several years later his widow remarried a Dr. John Brown Cutting of ALexandria ,Va. and by this marriage they had one son, John Brown Cutting, Jr.
