JOHN CRASKE and JNO: POUND acknowledged themselves indebted unto the Worsppll. her Majties Justices for Richmond County in the full and just summe of two hundred pounds Sterl., to be payd to the said Justices theire Exrs. or Admrs. in case ANNE GREENE do not duely administer on all and singular the Estate of RICHARD GREENE, deced., & render a true Account thereof when thereunto lawfully called

      KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I JOHN WALKER who intermarried with MARY DENBY, the Daughter of WM. DENBY, formerly of this County deced, doe for me my heires sell and confirme unto RICHARD GREEN now of this County & to his heires all my whole right of every part of the Tract & Devident of land given unto MARY my now Wife p Mr. JOHN MEADOR as p his last Will & Testament will at large appeare To have and to hold the afforesaid land and every part thereof with all the rights belonging from me my heires togeather with MARY my Wife unto the aforesaid RICHARD GREEN with all the housing orchards and all edifices thereunto belonging by virtue of any Patent or other right due unto the aforesaid JNO. MEADOR or to me and MARY my Wife as by claime from ye said MEDORS his Will may appeare and I the said JOHN WALKER doe further obleidge myselfe my heires in the penall sum and quantity of Six thousand pounds of good lob and Cask payable to said RICHARD GREEN or his heires upon my non-acknowledgemt, of this my act and deed in Rappa: County Court when thereunto required to the truth whereof wee have hereunto sett our hands and affixed or: seales this first of September 1684

      - DENNIS MACARTY brought his action in this Court against JOHN PHILPOTT of NORTH CAROLINA and declares that John GRIFFIN late of this County stands justly indebted to him the sume of Five hundred pounds of tobb: by Bill, And that the Deft did carry & transport the sd GRIFFIN so indebted out of the County contrary to the 127th Act in the Printed Laws of this Colony containing ye same and therefore craves Judgment against the said JOHN PHILPOTT for the sd 500 lbs of tobb: wth: cost. The Def by ANGELL JACOBUS his Se curgie for Plea with that the Deft. bought the said JOHN GRIFFIN. being a Servant of one RICHARD GREEN in this County; And that at the time the Exportation the sd GRIFFIN was. a servant , to the Deft And that the sd Bill was passi in the time of his Servitude which Plea the Court have allowed and dimsist the sd suitwth: cost from wch: Judgmt the Plt appeales to his Excellency & Councell for a re- hearing on the 6th day of the next Genll court
