      - In an Injunction in Chancery betweene ROBERT PORT, Complainant, and JOSEPH BELFIELD, Respondent, granted to said ROBERT for the surceaseing and stopping of further proceedings upon a Judgment obtained att the Common Law by JOSEPH BELFIELD against ROBERT PORT for twelve hundred pounds of tobbo. damage by meanes of his habrouring and entertaining one Servant Boy belonging to sd. JOSEPH named GEORGE HARBIN, Complainant by his Bill of Complaint exhibited agt. JOSEPH BELFIELD setts forth that HANNAH, his Wife, then knowne by the name of HANNAH TAYLER, on or about the yeare of our Lord 1698, had some certaine communication with one ELIAS WILSON the Younger and SUSANNA WILSON, Wife of ELIAS WILSON, the Elder, concerning the binding of her Son, ye sd. GEORGE HARBIN, and Apprentice to ELIAS and SUSANNA, who upon such communication agreed with said HANNAH and if it should so happen that said SUSANNA should die before the expiration of the time of service agreed upon, that then he should serve the residue and remaineing part of the same with said ELIAS and if it should happen that ELIAS should die before the time of expiration of service aforesd., that then he should serve the remaineing part thereof with HENRY WILSON, Son of sd. SUSANNA, and Brother of said ELIAS, whereupon in some time after (to Witt) on the fifth day of January in the yeare of our Lord 1698, Indentures in Writing betweene said SUSANNA and ELIAS of the one part and said GEORGE of the other part, were made, whereunto said HANNAH, who was unlettered consented and agreed concerning the same to be pursuant to the agreement and therewith for some yeares afterwards remained satisfied and contented but ELIAS dying and MARY his Widdow and Relict intermarrying with JOSEPH BELFIELD he claimed said GEORGE as his Servant without any colour of Right to him and directly repugnant and contradictory to the intent of the Originall Contract and in and by the Bill of Complaint (amongst other things) is mentioned and expressed, And JOSEPH BELFIELD by his Attorney comes and says that the Bill of Complaint by ROBERT PORT brought against this Defendt. is not sufficient in the Law to compell him to answer thereto & thereupon doth demurr and abide in Law and craves dismission of the suite with costs;
      Whereupon Complainant by his Attorney agreed not to take any advantage for want of any matter of forme in the demurrer and the same was thereupon continued till this Court for tryall; And the Complainant and Respondent being now called and Complt. by his Attorney urging and insisting yt. ye said demurrer was not good, prayed that JOSEPH BELFIELD might be compelled to render a further answer, and this Court having heard and considered the severall arguments pleaded and offerred by Complainant and Respondent in this behalfe are of Judgment yt. the demurrer is good and that the Bill of Complaint is insufficient for the Complainant to be relieved by in Equity and do thereupon order and decree that the Bill be dismist

      PORT's Estate HANNAH PORT, Relict of ROBERT PORT, deced., came into Court and made Oath that the said ROBERT PORT departed this life without makeing any Will soe fan- as she knows or believes, and on her Petition and giveing security for her just and faithfull administration of the said
      Decedent's Estate, Certificate is granted her for obtaining letters of Administration in due form

      HANNAH PORT, THOMAS PATTY and WILLIAM SIMMS came into Court and acknowledged their Bond for the said HANNAH PORT's ust and faithfull administration of the Estate of ROBERT PORT, deced., which is ordered to be recorded
      - PORT'S Estate to be appraised THOMAS JONES, JAMES INGO, JAMES WILSON and HENRY WILSON or any three of them sometime between this and the next Court are appointed to appraise all and singular the Estate of ROBERT PORT, deced., which shall be presented to their view in money, and make report thereof to the said next Court. EDWARD BARROW, Gent., or any other Jus- tice of the Peace for this County, is requested to administer an Oath to the Appraisers for their true appraisment of the sd. deced.'s Estate as also to HANNAH PORT, the Administratrix, for her true discovery thereof
