      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. I ANN FARGESON of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham being in health and of sound mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God for the same and calling to mind the uncertainty of this mortal life do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say IMPRIMIS I give and bequeath my Soul into ye hands of Almighty God who gave it and as touching such temporal Estate as it hath pleased almighty God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath the same as followeth.
      ITEM I give and bequeath and order that first of all my husbands Estate be first made good as it was at his decease and all the rest and remainder both real and personal after my husbands Estate is made good I give and bequeath as follows
      ITEM I give and bequeath to my Grandson JOHN CASTON {Croxton} a negro boy named Mature to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body,
      ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Daughter SARAH REDD my cloak and hood.
      ITEM my will and desire is that all ye rest of my Estate of what nature and kind whatsoever be equally devilled between my four children.
      ITEM I constitute and appoint and ordain my two sons JOHN and SAMUEL FARGESON my full and whole Executors of this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me heretofore made and do ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form aforesaid. AS WITNESS my hand and seal this first day of October in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and thirty one.

      At a Court held for Essex County at Tapp & on this with day of December MDCCXXXV This last will and testament of Ann Fargeson decd was presented in Court by John Fargeson one of the Executors therein named who made oath thereto & being also proved by the Oaths of Thomas Barker &Thomas Redd two of the witnesses thereto was ordered to be recorded

      TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whome these prsents shall come I JOHN FARGISSON of Farnham Parish in the County of Rappa:, Planter, send Greeting &c. Now know yee that I the said JOHN FARGISION as Marrying ANN the only surviving Daughter and heire of STUBLE STUBLESON deceased doe hereby for a valluable consideration already in hand received from WILLIAM JEWILL of the said County sell over unto the said WILLIAM JEWILL by and with the free volluntary consent of the said ANN my now Wife all mine and her right unto a certain peke of land formerly sold by one THOMAS RAWSON unto the said STUBLE STUBLESSON being in Sittingborn Parish that is to say, all the land that did then belong to the said RAWSON on the North side of GILSONS BRANCH being the head of TIGNERS CREEKE only the sd RAWSON excepting to himselfe and his heires forever his then Plantation and a small parcell of Wood land ground adjacent thereunto being marked out by RALPH WARRINER and ANTHONY NORTH in presence of severall of the Neighbourhood that bounds as followeth (vizt) from the mouth of the SPRING SWAMP to a small red Oake, thence up the branch to a Stake from thence running to a possinmon, thence to a small red Oake, thence to a white Oake from thence to the MILL DAM to a red Oake being a bound tree; To have and to hold the aforementioned parcell of land bounded as aforesaid to the said WILLIAM JEWELL and to his heires forever with warranty that we the said JOHN FARGISSON and ANN FARGISSON have full power to sell the same and that the right hereby transferred unto the said WILLIAM JEWILL and unto his heires shall be defended by us if thereunto required against the clayme of any person whatsoever And he the said WILLIAM JEWELL paying unto or: Soveraigne Lord the King all such rents and services as shall become due for the said land In Witness whereof we have hereunto set or: hands & seales this 12th day of February 1682/3
