      THIS INDENTURE made this Second day of Aprill in the year of Our Lord God one thousand seven hundred twenty and eight by and between JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife of Parish of Saint George in the County of Spotsylvania of one part and RICHARD BAYLEY of the Parish of Saint Margarett in County of KING WILLIAM of the other part; Witnesseth that JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife in consideration of sum of five shillings to them in hand paid hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto RICHARD BAYLEY his heirs all that tract of land bounded, Beginning at a white Oak corner to Mr. JOHN CHEW and MICHAEL GUINNEY, thence running down the GLADEY FORK RUN two hundred poles and so back for the complement of two hundred acres of land scituate in Parish of Saint George in County of Spotsylvania together with all rents and profitts of the premises; To have and to hold the tract of land and premises with appurtenances unto RICHARD BAYLEY from the day before the date hereof dureing the term of one whole year paying therefore the rent of one ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of Saint Michaell the Archangell only if the same be lawfully demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession RICHARD BAYLEY may be in actuall possession of the premises and be enabled to take a release of the inheritance thereof to him and his heirs; In Witness whereof JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made this Third day of Aprill in the year of Our Lord God 3 one thousand seven hundred twenty and eight by and between JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife in Parish of Saint George in Spotsylvania County, Planter, of one part and RICHARD BAYLEY of the Parish of Saint Margarett in County of KING WILLIAM of other part; Witnesseth that JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife in consideration of sum of twelve pounds to them in hand paid by RICHARD BAYLEY the receipt whereof JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife doth acknowledge, have and by these presents do bargain sell and release unto RICHARD BAYLEY all that tract of land bounded; Beginning [the description of the bounds of the land repeated as in the Lease above], for two hundred acres being part of a Pattent granted to JOHN BUSH dated the [blank] day of [blank] one thousand seven hundred and twenty now in the actuall possession of RICHARD BAYLEY, To have and to hold the seat or tract of land and other the premises with appurtenances unto RICHARD BAYLEY and his heirs to be holden to Our Sovereign Lord the King by the quit rents accustomed, and JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife and their heirs the land and premises with appurtenances unto RICHARD BAYLEY his heirs shall warrent and for ever defend by these presents; In Witness whereof JOHN BUSH and MARGARETT his Wife bath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
