      STAFFORD COUNTY VA WILL BOOK S; 1780-1789; THE ANTIENT PRESS
      pp. 363-364 KNOW ALL AN by these presents that I ISAAC EUSTACE Gt,, of Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, for & in consideration of the natural love & affection which I have & bear to & for my Son, WILLIAM EUSTACE of sd County, as also for the sum of Five shillings current money to me paid by him, I have given do make over to him, my Son, WILLIAM, & to his heirs & assigns forever, the following slaves in his actual possession now being, to wit, Bet a woman with Simon a boy, Margary a girl. & Harry a boy Children of sd. Bet., Sal a woman & Kit her Child, & Ned a Lad; To have and to hold the sd, slaves above named to him the said WILLIAM EUSTACE his heirs & assigns forever, & I do hereby warrant the sd, slaves to him against the claim of stl persons whatsoever, In Witness whereof I have affixed my hand & seal this 17th day of June 1786

      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty recd, and twenty third day of Sept. in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Fifty One Between JOHN LEE of the County of STAFFORD gent. of one part and ISAAC EUSTACE Third Son of WILLIAM EUSTACE late of the County of NORTHUMBERLAND gent deced of other part Witnesseth that sd JOHN LEE for sum of (One hundred pounds) paid by the sd ISAAC EUSTACE he the said JOHN LEE hath sold unto the said ISAAC EUSTACE in his actual possession now being by force of Indenture for one year and of the statute for Transferring uses into possession and to the heirs and assignes of the sd ISAAC EUSTACE all that Dividend of Land being in the County of Prince Willm. containing Four hundred and fifty acres on the PIGNUT RIDGE granted by Deed from the PROPRIETORS of the NORTHERN NECK bearing date the seventh day of March one thousand and seven hundred and Thirty to PETER BYRAM and is now vested in the aforesd JOHN LEE and bounded beginning at two red Oaks on the PIGNUT RIDGE near the lands of JOHN MACGUIRE and runing thence NW to a red Oak thence SW to a Chesnut and white Oak on the East side of the PIGNUT RIDGE thence NE to the beginning To Have and To Hold all the premises unto the sd ISAAC EUSTACE his heirs and assigns for evermore, In Witness whereof the parties have set their hands and seals
