      At the request of Henry Montgomery the following Deed was recorded November 2, 1802
      Indenture made October 19, 1802; Vincent Carrico of New Spain in the Upper Louisiana in consideration of 102 current money of Maryland paid by Henry Montgomery of CC has sold parts of tract of lands called "Saint James" containing 100 acres and "Hagan's Chance" containing 36 acres (which said land being laid out for James Carrico widow's dower by commissioners appointed by the court for 136 acres).
