      THIS INDENTURE made this twenty third day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Fifty One Between THOMAS HOOPER of FREDRICK COUNTY of one part and BENJAMIN CRUMP of Prince William County Planter of other part Witnesseth that said THOS. HOOPER for the sum of Twenty one pounds Ten shillings Current money of Virga. doth sell unto the said BENJA. CRUMP his heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel of land containing One hundred & Forty five acres being in Prince William County and on both sides of a small branch issuing out of RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER below the GREAT MARSH RUN and near the upper end of a tract of Two thousand & Twenty acres of land formerly belonging to PHILIP LUDWELL but now to Colo. CHARLES CARTER &Majr. PETER HEDGMAN and is bounded begining at two corner marked red Oaks standing on a ridg or rather on the side of the ridg on the Easterly side of the said MARSH RUN and furtherly from the head of the second Stoney valley falling into the said Run below the said LUDWELLs three marked Pines on the said Run and extending thence Southeast to a white Oak on the Southeast side of the first mentioned branch thence Northeast to a Corner marked Pine thence Northwest to two corner marked Spanish Oaks standing on a point near the said MARSH RUN and on the lower side of a branch issuing out of the said Run thence S,W, to the begining Together with all houses & heredetiments whatseover to the said parcel of land belonging
      To Have and To Hold unto the said BEN JA CRUMP his heirs & assigns forever. In Witness whereof the said THOMAS HOOPER hath set his hand and seal
