      And the said James Sertain by GEORGE BRENT his attorney comes into Court and for plea saith nil debet And now forasmuch as Jonah Revet by WILLIAM FITZHUGH his attorney did fully and Legally prove to this Court his debt to be due from James Sertain alsoe by the oaths of two honest and good witnesses here Sworn in Court upon the holy Evangelists of almight God Therefore tis ordered that James Sertain shall make present payment of the said sum unto Jonah Revet with costs Provided that Jonah Revet finish and compleat the door of James Sertain house which Revet lately built the said Sertain finding and providing Nails .. And now forasmuch as Jonah Revet the plt did not appear in this Court to prove and maintain his action and George Luke by himself and his attorney being now in Court and praying for consult against the Plt according to Law it is therefore Considered by the Court that Jonah Revet should be nonsuit and shall pay George Luke the sum of fifty pounds of Tobacco with costs.
      Ordered that Jonah Revet shall make present payment of sum of two hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco unto JOhN STOREY for his attendance at this Court in a suit depending between him and George Luke with costs ..

Know ye for valuable consideration already reced from THOMAS GILSON of Westmoreland County .. have sold tract of land being in aforesaid county containing by estimation 300 acres accruing to me by a Deed of Feoffment from JONAS RIVETT of county Stafford, son and heir of Jonas Rivett late of this county deced the said land being part of a pattenc of 1600 acres granted to GERVAS DODSON the 1st Feby. 1650 the pattent being bounded easterly upon Potomack River southerly upon the mouth of upper Machotick westerly and northerly upon the main woods the said 300 acres being part granted 29th October 1653 and bounded upon the lands pattented by STEPHEN NORMAN south upon the mouth of Machotick River North Easterly upon a small creek which divides it from the rest of the 1000 acres .. Normans pattent which is now in possession of VINCENT YOUNG by an able jury of the neighbourhood & two surveyors GEO. BRENT and WM. HORTON being appointed by the General Court ..

JONES deced by sale bearing date 1660 which said land the said Nathl. Jones deced did pattent in his own name which pattent bears date 1660 & the afsd Nathl. Jones deced did in his Last Will & Testament give & bequeath unto his daughter MARGT. JONES Mother of afsd William Baltrop all his land to her and her heirs which by descent falls to Wm. Baltrop party to these presents ..
