      pp. 163-164a IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I THOMAS ODONELL of Stafford County Gentl. beinge very sicke & weake in body butt thankes bee to God of perfect & sounde Memory doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner following and this alone to stand in force and noe other first I give & bequeath my Soule unto God who gave it me hopeinge through the merit of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ that I shall inheritt ye Kingdom of Heaven as for my worldly Estate wch it hath pleased God to bestow on me I bequeath as followeth
      Imprimis My Will is that all my debts wch shall be founde to be due shall be true & justley paid.
      Item I give & bequeath unto HENRY COLDSTREAME two hundred & fifty acres of land wch I last purchased unto him and the heires of his body lawfully begotten for ever in case he dye without issue then to fall to THOMAS LUND & his heires for ever
      Item I give and bequeath unto THOMAS LUND one hundred acres of land wch said land joynes upn ye land wch I bequeathed unto HENRY COLDSTREAME is part of that purchase & to his heires for ever
      ltem. my Will is that HENRY COLDSTREAME doe not barre ye said THOMAS LUND from any Timber wch he shall have occasion of from ye said COLDSTREAME s land.
      Item. I give and bequeath unto THUR. PATE & his heires for ever fifty acres of land belonging unto ye Tract of land where EDMUND KELLEY now liveth of mine & to his heires for ever
      Item. I give & bequeath unto ISABELL DERRICK Daughter of THOMAS DERRICK & to her heires for ever fifty acres of land of mine wch EDMD. KEELEY now liveth upon. I give & bequeath unto GEO: BRENT Senile of Capt. GEORGE BRENT & his heires for ever two hundred acres of land beinge part of ye divident wch EDMD. KELLEY now liveth upon of mine.
      Item . My will is that ye remainder of the tract of land of mine wch EDMD. KELLEY now liveth upon being fifty acres shall be equally divided between HENRY COLDSTREAME & THO. LUND & their heires for ever

      Item I give unto CHR; HITCHCOCK my share of Hoggs wch is betweene him & I for ever Ittem my will is that ye Rent of my two Plantacon which is now sett out shall goe to-wards Two yeares schooling for THOMAS LUND afterwards for ye maintenance of my Wife dureing her life.

      This Will was sufficiently proved in Court by ye oath off SAML HAYWARD & comparing ye hand of JOHN BASFORD bein ge formerly Deputy Clerke here on September 10th 1690

      323. FRANCIS HUNT who intermarried with ISABEL the daughter of THOMAS DERRICKE made humble complaint to this Court shewing that THOMAS ODENELE late of this County deced by his last will and testament did give and bequeath unto ISABEL DERRICK and now your Petrs wife fifty acres of land belonging to that tract or dividend of land whereon EDMOND KELLY now liveth as per the said Thomas Odoneles last will and Testament .. Wherefore your Petr in right of his wife humhly prayer this worshipful-Court to grant him an order to the intent he may survey and lay out the said fifty acres of land according to the will and bequest of the deced being ready to pay for the survey and all other charges incumbent thereon And the Court having considered the premises doe accordingly order Therefore tic ordered that Francis Hunt have Liberty and that the Surveyor of this County shall lay out the said fifty acres of land betwixt this and next Court according to the gift and bequest of Thomas Odenele deced Provided that he the said Hunt doe not disturbe the possession of ANNE ODENELE the widow and relict of Thomas Odenele either in her right of dower & right of legacy from her husband he the said Hunt paying costs
