      This Indenture made 3rd June 1725 between LEWIS ELLZY of Stafford County Planter and DANIEL MACFARSON of same Planter .. sold for Four thousand and four hundred pounds of good tobacco a Plantation as also 165 acres in County of Stafford upon the south side of POTOMACK CREEK being Virginia, part of said in King George Court County it being part of grand Patten taken up & pattented by JON & GEORGE MOTT of Rappahannock County deced it being 15600 acres in the year 1670 The said foresaid one hundred sixty five acres .. relation in the grand patter being bound as followeth beginning at Line that was formerly

      p. 495 This Indenture made 6th November 1727 between DANIEL McPHERTIAN and ANN his wife of Stafford County and JOHN MARTIN of County King George Witnesseth that Daniel McPhertain and Anne his wife doth acknowledge the gift being his desire of 100 acres for ever to the said John Martin adjoining and being the back of Seldens line the land that said Daniel purchased from FRANCES WADDINGTON sold it by deed .. to hold the 100 acres hereby made as a gift on his death bed to said John Martin his heirs forever by the evidence of ANN McPHERTAIN and JACOB WATS her son and JOHN SIMSON the son of SAMUEL SIMSON This acknowledgment made between Ann McPhertain of one part and John Martin of King George County witnesseth that Ann McPhertain doth acknowledge the right of the land mentioned to said John Martin against me the said Ann McPhertain.
