Indenture made October 9, 1766; I Seth Hyatt of Frederick County, Maryland in consideration of 37 pounds sterling money paid by Seth Hyatt, deceased to William Hyatt has sold a tract containing 150 acres [pages missing] and lying on a branch that falls into Mr. Robert Tyler's Quarter and bordering on Benjamin Duvall's moiety. Signed Seth Hyatt in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Williams, Mordecai Jacob and at the same time Priscilla Hyatt wife of Seth Hyatt relinguished her right of dower.

The 1776 census Of Prince George's county, Maryland, tabulated William Hyatt, aged 57, and wife Elizabeth Walker, aged 48, with sons aged 19, 17, 14, 12, 6, and daughters aged 13 and 9. Christopher Hyatt, aged 25, was living with one slave only. William Hyatt Jr., 28, and wife Martha, aged 28, had a son aged 3 and daughters aged 6, 4, and 12. Christopher Hyatt married Lucy Peach on 10 September 1777. William Hyatt Sr., William Hyatt Jr. and Christopher Hyatt signed the Oath of Allegiance in prince George's County during the Revolutionary War. More on this in my binder (Johnson & Hyatt's.)
