      On May 27, 1777, Letters of Administration were granted on the estate of Leavings Craycroft, to Thomas Craycroft, his brother. Bond = 200 Securities = William
      Jenkins and John Grant. Appraisers: Peter Dent and Alexr McDaniel. On Dec 30, 1777, the inventory was received, appraised to 63 13 shillings 8 pence.

Includes: a parcel of old joiners and wheelwright's tools, 2 old feather beds, 1 cow, 2 yearlings, 1 mare and colt, 1 small looking glass, 1 young mare, 1 silver watch.       The account of Thomas Craycroft, administrator of Leavings Craycroft, late of CC, decd, viz -
      Debts include: the inventory of sd deed's estate, exhibited into Orphan Court on Dec 30, 1777, amounting to 63 13 shillings 8 pence; money recd of Susanah Hawkins, Henry Hagan, Jno Macattee, William Stone, Samuel Hanson, Charles Green, Peter Fernandis, William Jenkins, Clare Green, Raphael Thompson, Henry Spalding, Zepha Turner, Ann Smith, Walter Pye, Igna Montgomery, Horatio Middleton, Jno Emerson, Josias Lanum, John Ford. The whole amount: 135 0 shillings 10 pence.
      Disbursements went to: William Leach; Joseph Marbury; Thomas Stone, attorney at law for sd decd in an action brought against John Ford, St. Mary's County, on agreement between the parties to divide the cost; Timothy Bows, Clerk of St. Mary's County for a copy of the above judgment; James King; Giles Green Jr; Walter Hanson, Register. Balance accountable: 114 5 shillings 0 pence.
      A further time prayed to pass additional account by reason of some debts not yet received.
      Securities: William Jenkins and John Grant of CC.
