      To dau. Jane and hrs., 240 A. of "Labyrinth," to be laid out as near as may be to dwelling plantation of Samuel Beall.
      To James Edmondston and hrs., 1/2 of "Brother's Content." to be laid out as near as may be to new dwelling plantation of Michael Cranen.
      To wife Mary, extx., residue of estate during life for maintenance and education of child.; at her decease to be divided between son Alex., dau. Rachel, sons Robert, Archibald, James, Allen and Thomas, and young. dau. [unnamed], and their hrs.; should any of child. die during minority., their estates to be divided amongst their brothers. Testator empowers James Edmonston and William Beall, Sr., to resurvey lands on or near "Rock Creek," viz.: "Labyrinth," "Prevention" and "Batchelor's Forest" and to make such alterations and additions in sd. land as they shall think proper.

      Indenture made February 20, 1788; Josias Beall of PGCo in consideration of the tobacco by him heretofore received for rents of a tract called "Lonehead" and further consideration of 5 shillings sterling paid by Cassandra White of Montgomery County, Maryland, Charity Magruder of PGCo and Hester Moxly of Fairfax County Virginia, being daughters of James Beall, deceased has sold all his right title and claim to the aforesaid tract lying near Bladensburg granted by patent bearing date May 20, 1724 unto James Beall grandfather of the said Josias Beall.
