Subject: [MDSTMARY] Wife of Leonard Alvey

I "think", but can't prove with what I have available to me right now that the wife of Leonard Payne (d. 1774) may have been Jane Payne, daughter of Thomas Payne and Tecla Thompson. Jane was single at the time of her father's distribution accounts in 1732. The first child I have for Leonard and Jane is 1737. Also, Leonard and Jane named a son Arthur (Jane's
grandfather was Arthur Thompson). Thomas Green Payne could have been named for his uncle, Thomas Green and for Thomas Payne, Jane's father.

Anyone have anything that might help or dispel the notion?
