Johnson and Anne his wife, father and mother of the said Jeffery Johnson have the use of the plantation. Dated 14 Dec 1663.       Deed 7 April 1706 of G W Parish, planter. Sells Richard Neale of same parish Gentleman for l 80 sterling, 130 acres in G W Parish on South Side of Greater Wiccocomomico River. Adjancent Vulcans Creek, land of Geoffry Johnson the road that goes to the Church, the land of Mr Richard Hudnall, etc.

      Virginia Colonial Abstracts: Northumbria Collection, 1645-1720 Volume 2 1652-1655 Beverly Fleet page 104 The order of James Toune Court for land for Mr Goche. Upon a surrender of a Pattent for 500 acres at the falls granted to Mr Jeffery Goche which canot in regard of the remoteness from the English plantations be securely seated without great charges. The Court hath therefore ordered that he shall have leave to take up soe much land in an other place in right of the said Pattent. Extr and examtr per me John Meade . This is a true copy of the order per me Abraham Moone 20 May 1653. (Mr Fleet states that Mr Gooch should have kept his 500 acres it was the future site of Richmond, Virginia.)
