      Will of JOHN PATTISON.
      I JOHN PATTISON of King George County .. give and bequeath to my Cousin PATTISON FLETCHER my gun and one cow;
      to my Cousin JAMES FLETCHER my last made and best suit of wearing apparrel;
      to my Cousin JOHN FLETCHER my new great coat; to my Cousin
      THOS FLETCHER four Ews out of my stock of sheep; to my wife ANNE
      PATTISON one half of my estate to dispose of at her death as she may think fit and the other half I live the use of to my said wife during
      her life and descend as follows. To JAMES HYTER the sum of Ten pounds currt. money; NANCY HOLT shall contine to serve my wife until she arrives to age Eighteen .. if my wife dies before I desire she serve PATTISON FLETCHER until she arrives to age Eighteen and in that case I give NANCY HOLT Ten pounds currt. money. In consideration of the Legacy of JAMES HYTER I desire he shall serve my wife or JAMES FLETCHER .. to age Twenty one ., desire my estate not be appraised " appoint my wife and JAMES FLETCHER Executrix and Exor . this 25th day of August 1759.

      Indenture made first January 1737 between CHARLES CARTER Esqr. of King George County and JOHN PATTASON Planter of same .. in consideration of rents .. farm lett parcel of land being part of a greater tract of the said Carters lying above the Falls of Rappahannock River the whole tract containing 782 acres and formerly divided into four Lotts containing 195 acres being the lower part next to the river line of marked trees dividing this land from land of Mr. THOMAS HOOPER .. this 195 acres and one other parcel of land lying in the uppermost Lott containing 5 acres .. to hold the said 200 acres during natural lives of John Pattason, ANN his wife and THOMAS FLETCHER JUNR. .. paying yearly rent of 630 pounds of good sound merchantable tobacco to be made on the land to be paid in cask the allowed of Thirty pounds of Tobacco to be deducted ..
