      - JOHN WATERS brought his action in this Court against RICHARD WILTON as Marrying the Executrx, of ROSOMUND JACOB and declares that the sd JACOB at the time of his decease stood justly indebted to him the sum of Six pounds Ten shillings in mony upon Account bearing date the 8th: day of 9ber 1685 and proved by the Oath of the Plt., in this Court. The Deft. sayes that by the 4th Act of Assembly held at JAMES CITY the 25th day of April! Ano 1679 no accounts are pleadable against the Estate of a deceased person except proved by the Oath of one witness more besides the Creditor, But it appearing to this Court that the sd Debt was contracted within one year before the death of the sd JACOB, the Court granted Judgmt. to the sd JOHN WATERS against the Estate of the sd ROSOMUND JACOB for Six pounds ten shillings in mony to be pd. wth: cost of suit als exe., from which Judgment the Deft. appealed for a rehearing of the matter to the Honble Councell on the 4th day of the next Genll.       KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN WATERS of South Farnham Parish & County of Essex, Planter, for ye consideration of Five thousand pounds of sweet scented tobacco & casque to me in hand paid by PHILLIP PARR of ye aforesd County, Gent., do by these presents grant and set over unto him ye sd PHILLIP PARR all my right claime & interest of a Plantation and parcell of land lyeing & being on ye South side of PISCADDAWAY CREEKE in GLOVERS NECK in South Farnham Parish & County of Essex, being part or parcell of a tract of land formerly granted by Patent by SR. WILIAM BEVERLEY Knt., to Mr. THOMAS PATTISON, since conveyed to MR.
