      Archives of Maryland Online, Journal of the Council, vol. 72, p. 356, 4 Nov. 1793 ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay Samuel Magruder as trustee to the children of Lt Rignal Hilleary 30 pounds for 1/2 yr. allowance commencing 1st of May last. There are other entries on the website for other monies paid to Samuel as trustee for the two children

      Indenture made December 14, 1789; Haswell Magruder in consideration of the natural love and affection he has for his son Samuel Magruder as also for the better maintenance and 5 shillings has given part of "William and Mary Increased" now called "Berrys Folly" containing 107 acres and bounded by "Baltimore Manor" now in possession of John Hill, "White Lackington", "Addition to Little Dean", "Little Dean" and the road that leads to Addisons Chaple. Signed Haswell Magruder in the presence of Rd Cramphin and acknowledged before Rd Cramphin, Richard T. Lowndes and at the same time Charity Magruder w/o Haswell Magruder relinquished her right of dower
