      In Name of God Amen, I Benja. Ducom of Saint Pauls Parish County Stafford Planter being sick but of perfect sence make my Last will & Testament revolking any wills by me before made. First I give the land whereon I now live to my Friedn Richard Bernard in Trust to give unto John Prestige the natural son of Sarah Pestrige and in case John die wihtout heirs to remain to Wm. Pestrige another son of said Sarah & he should die without heirs or making legal disposition then to the child said Sarah now goest with the same manner and Sarah Pestrige to have the use of the same as long as she lives single to maintain the said children. Item I give to my Nephew Thomas Duncom the gun that was his Fathers. Item I give the rest of my Estate in Trust ot my Friend Richard Bernard to be equallyl divided betwen the said Sarah and her children that are now living and the one that she goes with and that the said chattels be kept together for the better maintenance of the hcildren and I do also appoint Sarah Pestrige my Exutrix under the direction of my Friend Richard Benard 16th July 1753. Benja. Duncom Presence William Iness, Jess + Moss, and X. McKensy, Thoams Rickets."
