      In the name of God amen, I Thomas Stone of Albemarle County being in perfect mind and memory do make ordain this my Last Will & Testament and desire it to be Received by all as Such, my Soul I recommend to god Who gave it my body I cimmit to the earth from whence it was taken to be decently Buried at teh Discretion of my Executors hereafter named who I doubt not will manage with all Requisite Prudence and as touching such worldly Estate as it has please god to bestow on me I give & dispose of in the for named manner following to Wit
      I give my beloved wife Sally Stone all my Land adjoining to my dwelling house Except what has heretofore been given to my sons During her Natural Life & afterwards I give the same Land together with the Dwelling house to my son James Stone to him & his heirs forEver
      I also give to my beloved wife Sally Stone four negroes of that which She may see cause to Chuse to have to hold During her Natural Life
      I also give to my beloved wife Sally Stone all my household & Kitchen furniture & as much of my Stock of Every Kind as She may see cause to Take for her support
      Item I give to my son James Stone two negroes with their issue I will to him & his heirs forever, also give to my son James Stone on bed & furniture one Cherry Table, one Looking Glass a Large One
      Item I give to my son Henry Stone one hundred acres of Land to him & is heirs forever
      Item I give to my son Kenze Stone one hundred acres of Land to him and his heirs for Ever
      Item I give to my son Edward Stone one hundred acres of Land to him his heirs forever
      Item I will to my son John Stone one hundred acres of Land where he formerly lived
      Item I will to my son Thos Stone one hundred seventy acres where he now lives in Orange County Item I give to my Daughter Mary Crowhite Children to same part of my Estate as if She was Living Item I give to my daughte Rachel Crowhite one bed & furniture one negro named Cartin in Stead of land wich I think is worth as much as my Boys Land
      Item I lend unto my Daughter Sally Marr an Equal portion of my Estate during her natural life and afterwards I will it to her children & their heirs forever
      Item I lend to my Daughter Rebecka Doughety and Equal portion of my Estate During her Natural Life & afterwards I will it to her Children & Their hers for Ever
      Item It is my Will that Rebeckers husband is never to have an an authority over any part or parts of which I have Lent to her and afterwards willed her Children,
      Item I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Wood Nigor by the name of Simon to her and her hers for Ever Item it is my will all my Land that is not will Shall be Sold on Twelve Monthes Credits & the moneys arising from the same shall be Divided as my will Directs & that Equally my beloved wife Sally Stone shall have the use of all my Lands Except what I have will to my sons During her Natural Life I Constitute my beloved wife together with my three sons my Executors Henry Stone, Thos Stone & James Stone to this my Last Will and Testament Revoking all other Given under my hand and seal this 21st day of July Eighteen Hundred Twelve & in the thirty Seven year of the Commonwealth.

      This instrument of Writing purporting to be the last will and Tesatement of Thomas Stone deceased was produced into Court and proved by the oaths of John Dickerson & William Marshall Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Teste
