      This Indenture made this 30.th Day of May in the
      Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred forty and Seven Between Joanna
      Croxall of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Widow of
      the one part and James Carroll Croxall of Baltimore County in the
      Province af.d of the Other part Witnesseth that the said Joanna Croxall
      for and in Consideration of the Natural love and Affection that she hath
      and do bear unto the said James Carroll Croxall as her Son as also
      for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred Twenty and Two
      Pounds Current money of Maryland to her already in hand paid and
      Secured to be Paid by the said James Carroll Croxall at or before the
      Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof the s.d
      Joanna Croxall do^th^ hereby Acknowledge and him the said
      James Carroll Croxall of every part thereof doth hereby fully
      Clearly and Absolutely Exonerate acquit and Discharge hath Given
      Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and
      by these Presents doth fully Clearly and Absolutely Give Grant
      Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said James
      Carroll Croxall his heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns all that Tract
      or parcel of Land lying and being in Prince Georges County in the
      Province af.d and on a Branch of Manocacy River called little
      Pipe Creek being part of a Tract or parcel of Land Originally
      Surveyed and Laid out for a Certain James Carroll late of
      Ann Arundel County Deceased Called Pork Hall Containing by
      the Originall Survey thereof Two thousand Six hundred and eighty
      Acres four hundred and Ninty Acres of the said Tract being by
      the last Will and Testament of the said James Carroll Devised
      and Bequeathed to his Sister Joanna Carroll the above mentioned
      Grantor but on a Warrant of Resurvey on the af.d Tract of Land
      there Appearing to be Surplus within ^the^ Meets and Bounds of the af.d
      Original Tract of Land for which the said Joanna Croxall hath
      freely Paid and Satisfied unto the said Lord Proprietor or his Agent
      here for Land Affaire for which it now appears by A Grant from
      his Lordship bearing Date the Twenty nineth day of September
      Seventeen hundred forty and five that the af.d Joanna Croxall
      hath due unto her five hundred Eighty and Seven Acres part of
      the af.d Tract of Land Begining at the end of the thirty ninth
      Line Of Originall Tract of Pork Hall where Stands three
      Bounded White Oaks one of which forks about Twelve foot
      from the Bottom and to the South fifteen Degrees West of the
      said Trees is a Rock and a Small b^l^ack Oack Growing thereon
      and Runing thence South Eighty Seven Degrees East three
      Hundred and forty two Perches thence South fourteen Degrees
      West Eighty four Perches thence South thirty five Degrees West
      One Hundred and Eighty four Perches thence South Seventy Degrees
      Degrees West Sixty Perches thence North fifty Six Degrees West forty
      Perches thence South fifty Eight Degrees West twenty Six Perches thence
      South thirty one Degrees West Two hundred and thirty four perches
      thence North fifty five Degrees West One hundred ^&^ thirty four perches
      thence North forty five Degrees East Seventy Six Perches thence North
      Seventy Degrees East forty six Perches thence North forty eight Degree^s^
      East One hundred Perches thence North Sixty Eight Perches thence
      North Sixty Eight perches thence North forty Seven Degrees West
      Seventy Six perches thence North Seventy one Degrees West Sixty

      by a Streight Line to the Begining Trees Containing and laid out for
      five hundred and eighty Seven Acres of Land more or less called Brothers
      Generosity To have and to hold the said Bargained
      Land and Premisses with all the Appurtenances and Improvements
      and Advantages therein or thereunto belonging unto him the said James
      Carroll Croxall his Heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns forever and
      the said Joanna Croxall for herself and ^for^ her heirs Executors Adm.rs doth
      farther Covenant and agree to and with the said James Croxall and
      his heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assigns that she the said Joanna
      Croxall shall and will from time to time and at all times forever
      hereafter Warrant and Defend the above Bargained Land and
      Premisses with all it's Appurtenances and Improvement and
      Advan^ta^ges as well from her the said Joanna Croxall as her heirs
      or any person Claiming or to Claim any Right thereto or therein by
      from or under her or in or through her or their means or procurem.t
      and the said Joanna Croxall doth for herself and her heirs farther
      agree to and with the said James Carroll Croxall and his heirs Ex.rs
      and Assigns that she the said Joanna Croxall her heirs Ex.rs &
      Adm.rs shall and will from time to time and at all times forever
      hereafter at the proper Request and Instance of him the said James
      Carroll Croxall or his heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns and at his
      or their proper proper Cost and Charge make do and Execute any
      Other Lawfull Deed or Deeds of Conveyance according to the
      True Intent and meaning of this present Deed for the more sure
      Conveying and making Over unto him the said James Carroll
      Croxall his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns all the
      above Bargained Land and Premisses as he or his heirs Ex.rs
      Adm.rs or Assigns or his Or their Council Learned in the Law
      shall devise advise or require Provided the same shall
      Accord with the True Intent and meaning of these Presents

      the Right and Estate of the within named James Carroll Croxall
      of Baltimore County according to the True Intent and meaning
      of the within Deed B Young

      May 30.th 1747 Then Received of James Carroll Croxall the sum
      of One hundred Twenty and Two Pounds in full Consideration
      of the within Bargained Land and Premisses
