      To all &c., Whereas &c., Now know yee that I the sd: FRANCIS MORYSON Esqr. &c. accordingly give & grant unto ANDREW BOYER One thousand acres of Land scituate in the County of Northumberland abutting & bounding Easterly upon the Land of Mr. GEORGE FLETCHER deced., Southerly on a Branch of DENNIS his CREEKE, deviding this land from the land of Mr. RICHD: BUDD, the two opposite sides uppon the maine woods; which sd; land being formerly granted unto JOHN FOSSETT, FREEMAN CONAWAY & JOHN HOWARD by Pattent dated the 13th of October 1653 and by them deserted & is now granted to the sd. BOYER by order of the Governor & Councell dated the third day of December 1659; And is due unto him by & for the transportacon of Twenty p:sons into this Collony whose names are all in the Records mentioned under this Pat- tent; To have & to hold &c., Dated the 21th of October 1662
