TO ALL PEOPLE to whom this present Writing shall come Know yee that I FRANCES LONGE of Rappa. County and St. Marys Parish, Widow, out of the natural love and respect I have to my Children, RICHARD, JOHN, GABRIEL, SARA, ANN, Children of my loveing Husband, JEREMIAH LONGE deced, out of the naturall love and affection I beare to my Children aforementioned I do by these presents give and confirme unto my abovesd Children seven head of female Cattle (vizt) four head of the oldest Cattle, Cowslip, Brandy, Filpate and Lilly to my four eldest Children them and their female encrease forever, and to my youngest Son, GABRIEL, I give a two year old heifer called Colly, her with all her future female encrease forever, and for the two remaining of the seven abovesd. I give and bequeath as of all right they do belong to Eldst. Son, RICHARD LONGE, them and their future female encrease forever and in case of Mortalitie of any of my Children abovesd. the Survivers to have the sd Cattle and encrease equally devided amongst the surviving Children; Also I give and by these presents confirme unto my Son, JOHN LONGE, one yearling mare Colt called Bimcey branded on the neare shoulder with W: S: and a nick under the left eare and cattle abovesd all my Husbands, LONGEs, proper marke except two that belonge to my Son, RICHD. and in case WM. STARKE shall hereafter think fitt to kill these two cattle of different marke that he the said STARKE shall be obliged hereby to give my Son, RICHD. LONGE, two more cows as shall be equall in goodness to the two as he shall so kill, and to be of my Husband, LONGEs, proper marke In Confirmation whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this 13th of August 1687
