      In the name of God Amen I Angell Jacobus of Christ Church Parish being weak of Body but perfect in memory and remembrance at his present time raise be God according to the computations of the Church of England I do ordain and constitute this to be my Last Will and Testament revoking all other wills whatsoever by me made.
      First I bequeath my soul to the Almighty Gog who gave it ___ by the mercy of Jesus Christ my redeemer to receive everlasting life.
      Secondly I bequeath my body to the earth to be buried at ye discretion of my executor hereafter mentioned .
      Item I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter Elizabeth Yeats one hundred acres of land lying in Richmond County in North Farnham Parish it being part of her uncle Clarks land upon ye ___ to her and her heirs forever, Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Jacobus that plantation in Richmond County where I lived on with one hundred acres of land to her and her heirs lawfully begotten of her body and in case for want of such heirs to be equally to ye surviving sisters divided,
      Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Winifred Jacobus one hundred acres of land lying and joining to ye plantation I lived on and one hundred acres of land lying by Charles Beaver Dam to her and her heirs lawfully begotten by her body and in case for want of such heirs to be equally divided to ye surviving sisters divided,
      Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jacobus one hundred ninety five acres of land joining to ye plantation whereon I lived in Richmond County it being now seated by my son in law Wm Yeats to her and her heirs lawfully begotten by her body and in case for want of such heirs to be equally to ye surviving sisters divided,
      Item, I give and bequeath one hundred and fifty acres of land lying and joining to ye land of Mr Fran Gower ___ Mr Henry Aston Samuel Baly in Richmond County to a child that my wife now goeth with male or female to it and its heirs lawfully begotten by its body forever and in case for want of such heirs to return to my daughter Winifred

      Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Susannah Jacobus in lieu of an Indian boy called Peter given to her by her uncle Clark, six ____ ____ one large brass kettle one feather bed bolster two pillows and pairs of blankets a wosted rug , red ___ curtains and valences with a silk fringe to it.
      Item it is my will and desire that my Indian boy called Peter shall be free at this seventh day of February come two year, further it is my will and desire that ye said Indian Peter shall have at ye expiration of his after said two year a young mare three years old bridle and saddle a ____ and ____ of clothes a hat one shirt a pair of trousers and hoses,
      Item I give and bequeath all ye rest of my personal estate whatsoever unto my loving wife Ann Jacobus,
      Item it is my will and desire that Mr Joseph ____ (Dicke?) shall remain on ye plantation whereon he now liveth until my daughter Ann be of age or married paying to the use of my said daughter Ann the rent annually one thousand pounds of tobacco,

      8 March, 1682 ; CLARKE, JOAN,* 3 May, 1683.
      To my two daughters Anne Gower and Elizabeth Jacobus all my wearing apparel to be equally divided between them.
      To Stanley Gower the son of Francis and Anne Gower one cow with all her increase forever to be delivered to the said Stanley the next Spring shall be Twelve month after my decease.
      To Elizabeth Jacobus daughter of Angell Jacobus and Elizabeth that feather bed I generally used to lye upon with the bolster Rugg and two feather pillows. Also to the said daughter of Angell Jacobus one cow with all her increase for ever to be delivered the next Spring shall be twelve month after my decease. To son John Clarke all my other estate (except what is above specified) as household stuff and all other Hereditamt and all other personall Estate as slaves cattle hoggs and a horse called Button And everything else I do possess with whether debts or otherways only what I above give to my daughters and their children excepted. It is my will that my son John remove nothing from the Plantation I now live on till he comes to the age of one and twenty. I also give to my son John a Certain Tract of Land that belongeth to me of seven hundred ninety and two and one halfe (792.5) acres that lyeth up-wards upon Rappeh River and nigh unto one William Sargent to him my said son and his heirs forever but if my said son should die without issue then the said tract of land to be divided between the heirs of the bodies of my two daughters Anne Gower and Elizabeth Jacobus. Appoints her son John Clarke her sole Executor. To Francis Gower son of Francis and Anne Gower one cow to be delivered the next Spring Come twelve month after my decease the weh Cow I give with its increase for Ever. This Cow is to be excepted from those Cattle I give my son John as well as the other two I gave my Grandchildren Stanley Gower and Elizabeth Jacobus. I desire my trusty and welbeloved ffriend Coil John Stone of Rapp8c County to guide and direct and counsel my son John Clarke till he Comes to ye age of one and twenty.

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I ELIZABETH JACOBUS, Wife of ANGELL JACOBUS of RAPPA: County in the Parish of North Farnham do appoint & make my Neighbour & friend, DAVID BARRICK, my true & lawfull Attorney to acknowledge a parcell of land my Husband and I have sold unto WILLIAM YEATES, the said land belonging to my Brother, CLARK, deceased, & fell to me, and I do relinquish all my trust or claiming my thirds for & in consideration of paying to my said Husband Three thousand seven hundred pounds of tobacco & cask by a Deed of Sale freely & willing that my Attorney should acknowledge it in as full power as if I were in presents as witness my hand & seale this 4th day of May 1692

      THIS INDENTURE made the second day of May in the year of our Lord Between ANGELL and ANN JACOBUS of the one part and HENRY HOW of the other part, both of Richmond County, FARNHAM Parish Rapahank: River in Virginia.
      Witnesseth that I ANGELL JACOBUS by and with the full & free consent of my Lawful' Wife, ANN, as well for a good & valuable consideration in hand paid hath granted unto HENRY HOW One hundred acres of Land being part of a Devident belonging to the said JACOBUS which he took up and tnere'd at the PROPRIETORS OFFICE with Colo. FITZHUGH, suveyed by Capt ALEXANDER SPENCE Surveyor. it being part of Four hundred fifty five acres was formerly called COGWELLs Land, the said hundred acres of Land bounded as followeth beginning at a marked corner red Oak standing on a Point of JOHN SHIMLOCKS SWAMP, thence South West to a marked Corner red Oak standing on a Point of JNO: SHURLOCKS SWAMP, thence South West to a marked Chesnut tree standing on the side of a hill at the head of the FOXGRAPE SWAMP, thence South West to a marked red Oak, thence South West to a marked red Oak, thence South West to a marked corner white Oak to the Land of JOHN CRUTCHER deced, standing in the back line of JAMES WILLIAMSON deced, thence running down the line of the said JAMES WILLIAMSON deced East to a marked corner red Oak to the Land of THOMAS RIDLEY, thence extending by a line of marked trees to the place where the beginning tree standeth, including the said hundred acres of land in this manner, together with all Timber trees standing and being thereupon and belonging thereunto, all which premisses are being in the Parish of FARNHAM in aforesaid County of Richmond and now is in the possession of the said HENRY HOW his heirs or assigns; To have and to hold unto the said HENRY HOW his heirs or assigns forever together with all other benefits belonging in as large and ample manner as are expressed in the Patent of the said Land and by the Rents & services therein mentioned to be due and payable; And we the said ANGELL and ANN JACOBUS do for ourselves our heirs promise that he the said HENRY HOW his heirs may at aU times forever hereafter peaceably hold and enjoy the aforesaid Land with their appurtinances without the molestation of any persons whatsoever that shall make any claim to any part thereof; And lastly we the said ANGELL and ANN JACOBUS do for ourselves our heirs do promise that all times forever hereafter defend the said Land in a Lawsuit to the said HENRY HOW & cause to be done all such further assurance for the sure conveying the aforesd. Land as shall be reasonably required. In Witness whereof the parties abovementioned have sett their hands and fixed their seals

      BE IT KNOWN unto all men that I ANN JACOBUS of Parish of FARNHAM in County of Richmd. do appoint my trusty and welbeloved freind, DAVID BERWICK to be my true and law-full Attorney for me to acknowledge & surrender from me my heirs forever all my right in One hundred acres of land which he path bought of my Husband, ANGELL JACOBUS, by Deed bearing date the second day of May 1696 Moreover I the said ANN JACOBUS do justifie and confirm whatsoever my abovesd.       THIS INDENTURE made this 6th: day of April Ano: Dom: 1697 Between ANGELL JACOBUS and ANN his Wife of one party & RANDOLPH DUGLASS of the other party Witriessuth that the aforesd. ANGELL. JACOBUS together with ANN his Wife hive bargained sold sett & leased & confirmed unto the aforesd. RANDOLPH DUGLASS to him his heirs and assigns Fifty acres of Land in the Parish of FARNHAM in the County of Richmond beginning at a red Oak corner tree in the line of Mr. THO: BEALE so running down the Branch till it meets -with MONOCON SWAMP & so to continue untill the aforesd. Fifty acres of land be fully compleated; Now Know ye that I ANGELL JACOBUS & ANN my Wife do for a valuable consideration to us in hand already paid & do further confirm sett lett & lease & make over unto the said RANDOLPH DUGLASS for Ninety nine years the aforesaid Fifty acres of Land unto said RANDOLPH DUGLASS paying yearly to the sd ANGELL JACOBUS an Ear of Corn Rent with our full & generall Warranty from we the said ANGELL JACOBUS & ANN us or either of us our heirs or assigns for the full term of Ninety & nine years & from any persons whatsoever to him the aforesd. RANDOLPH DUGLASS or to his heirs or assigns for the full term of Ninety nine years aforesd. with all the Priviledges or emoluments thereunto belonging he or they paying all such as shall hereafter become due & do further oblige ourselves that we shall be ready & willing at any time hereafter to give unto the sd RANDOLPH DUGLASS his heirs or assigns any better confirmation that his advice shall direct to & this our act & deed we shall acknowledge in the County Court of Richmond when thereunto required. To the Truth of which & every part whereof we have put to hands & affixed our seals
