      The Last Will and Testament of GEORGE GREEN, deceased, was presented in Court by ELIZABETH GREEN, the Executrix, who made Oath thereto, and being proved by the Oaths of NEAL McCORMACK and WILLIAM TIPPETT, witnesses thereto, is admitted to Record; And on motion of the Executrix and her performing what is usuall in such cases, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof in due forme

      ROWLAND THORNTON, ISAAC ARNOLD, WILLIAM REED and WILLIAM PITMAN or any three of them some- time between this and the next Court are appointed to appraise all and singular the Estate of GEORGE GREEN, deced., in money, which shall be presented to their view and make report thereof to the said next Court. JONATHAN GIBSON, Gent., or any other Justice of the Peace for this County, is requested to administer an Oath to the Appraisers for their true appraisment of the Decedent's Estate as also to ELIZA- BETH GREEN, the Executrix, for her true discovery thereof

Whereas GEORGE GREEN late of county Richmond was in his life time possessed of a certain parcel of land lying in parish of Hanover and county King George containing 885 acres or thereabouts .. made his last will and testament in writing bearing date 9th June 1716 .. did devise the said tract of land to his sons JOHN GREEN (party hereto his Eldest son & heir at law), THOS, GEORGE, JOSEPH, WILLIAM, SAMUEL, DANIEL, and ISAAC and to his Daughters ELIZABETH & CREES {sic Grace} GREEN .. equally divided among them after death of Testator the said tract of land was equally divided & allotted to the several children .. upon which allotment 69 acres .. and bounded Southerly by the Dividend of land allotted to Elizabeth and since purchased by FRANCIS THORNTON, Easterly by the Dividend allotted to DANIEL GREEN also purchased by Francis Thornton, Northerly by dividend allotted to SAMUEL GREEN and Wisterly by tract of land belonging to THOMAS WILLKERSON was allotted to GREES GREEN as her equal dividend .. and Whereas said Grees being possessed as tenant departed this life intestate and without issue of her body .. said parcel of land reverted and came to John Green party hereto as Eldest Son and heir at law ..
