      To Bridget Eale all my lands and right to Lands in Virginia during her life also to her all my other estate both moveable and unmoveable only During her life and after the Decease of the said Bridget Eale my lands and estate shall be equally divided between George Eale Wm Eale Jr., and Charity Eale Bridget's Children to them and their heirs forever. Also to Charity Eale a young mare about two years old and all her male and female increase forever. The said Bridget Eale to have only the use of the said estate during her Life for her Maintenance but not to convert the said Estate to any other use whereby to Deprive the above said Children.       My executor Henry Clarke living in Totaskey Creek to take into his hands all that pertains and belongs to me for such use as followeth My two mares and two colts I do give to Henry Clarke son unto the said Henry Clarke with all the increase thereafter also to sd Henry Clarke the younger seven breeding cattle and two male cattle the same being desired to remaine in the hands of his father Henry Clarke until his son is capable to make use of them himselfe all this I desire may be performed.

      THIS INDENTURE made the Third day of March in year according to the computation of the Church of England One thousand Six hundred eighty and nine btween ZACHARIAS NICCOLLS of ye Parish of North Farnham in County of Rappa,, Plantr., of one part. and HENRY CLARKE of same Parish and rnunty, Plan tr , of other part Witnesseth that sd ZACHARIAS NICCOLLS for sum of seven thousand pounds of Tobba: to him paid hath granted unto sd HENRY CLARKE his heirs his peice of Woodland ground being in the Parish and County abovesd nere a Mill there called TOTASKEY MILL upon a branch there called the MILL MAINE BRANCH begining at a markt pokikory standing in a small valley the head of a small branch issuing into the sd MILL MAINE BRANCH thence runing into the woods South and by East to containe a square in length and breadth the full quantity of Two hundred acres with all the appertinances unto the same belonging To have and to hold the Two hundred acres of land above granted unto HENRY CLARKE his heirs and assigns forever and that sd ZACHARIAS NICCOLLS will at all times hereafter upon the request and charge of HENRY CLARKE his heirs further do make lawfull act for more perfect assuring of the lands and premises menconed unto sd HENRY CLARKE his heirs In Witness whereof the above named ZACHARIAH NICCOLLS to this present hath sett his hand and seale

      THIS INDENTURE made the Twentyeth and sixth day of November in the Eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King William Ano: Domini 1696 Between ZACHARIAH NICHOLLS of Richmond County in the Colony of Virginia, Planter, & MARY his Wife of the one party and HENRY CLARKE of the other party; Witnesseth that the said ZACHARIAH NICHOLLS and MARY his Wife for the sum of Two thousand One hundred pounds of tobacco and cask to them paid hath granted unto the said HENRY CLARKE a certain Tract of Land containing by estimation Forty acres be it more or less situate and being on the North side of TOTUSKEY beginning at a Gum corner tree which stands at the head of a Branch that now lieth between his Dwelling House and Mine, running down the several meanders of the said Branch to the MILL MAIN BRANCH, thence down the said Branch until we come to the first small Branch which issueth out of the said MILL MAIN BRANCH to a Hickory a corner tree of a former Devi- dent purchased of the said NICHOLLS, thence by and along the said line to a Gum corner tree and first sation; To have and to hold the said Land unto him the said HENRY CLARKE his heirs and assigns forever, together with all houses fences gardens orchards woods belonging and also all the Estate Right of him the said ZACHARIAH NICHOLLS and MARY his Wife w the same and the said ZACHARIAH NICHOLLS and MARY hia Wife de fur themselves their heirs covenant that the said HENRY CLARKE his heirs and assigns shall & may by virtue of these presents at all times hereafter lawfully hold all the aforesaid bargained premisses with their appurtinances without any trouble by the said ZACHARIAH NICHOLLS and MARY his Wife their heirs or any other persons whatsoever claiming under him them or any of them, Subject nevertheless unto the Rents and services which from henceforth shall become due and payable to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee in respect of his or their Seigniory or Seigniorys only excepted and foreprized, In Witness whereof the parties have hereunto to these Indentures sett their hands and seals
